Membership eligibility\u003C/h2>\u003Cp>\u003Cstrong>2.1 \u003C/strong>Membership is available only to individuals who meet BLE’s eligibility criteria within the blue light and armed forces community.\u003C/p>\u003Cp>\u003Cstrong>2.2 \u003C/strong>Current eligible roles are published in our \u003Ca href=\"https://help.bluelightescapes.com/en/\">Help Centre\u003C/a> and may be updated from time to time.\u003C/p>\u003Cp>\u003Cstrong>2.3\u003C/strong> BLE reserves the right, at its discretion, to determine eligibility and to request evidence to verify eligibility.\u003C/p>\u003Cp>\u003Cstrong>2.4\u003C/strong> You must be \u003Cstrong>at least 18 years old\u003C/strong> to become a member.\u003C/p>\u003Ch2>3. Sign-up, verification & account creation\u003C/h2>\u003Cp>\u003Cstrong>3.1 \u003C/strong>To create an account, you must provide accurate and complete information, including:\u003C/p>\u003Cp>- First name and last name\u003Cbr />- Email address\u003Cbr />- Date of birth\u003Cbr />- Contact number\u003Cbr />- Password\u003C/p>\u003Cp>\u003Cstrong>3.2\u003C/strong> Membership eligibility must be verified either via:\u003C/p>\u003Cp>- A verified work email address, or\u003Cbr />- An accepted form of identification (as listed in the \u003Ca href=\"https://help.bluelightescapes.com/en/\">Help Centre\u003C/a>)\u003C/p>\u003Cp>\u003Cstrong>3.3\u003C/strong> Where ID is uploaded, we recommend redacting all information other than your name, employer, and date.\u003C/p>\u003Cp>\u003Cstrong>3.4\u003C/strong> We reserve the right to refuse, suspend, or terminate membership where eligibility criteria are not met or false information is provided.\u003C/p>\u003Ch2>4. Membership fees, payment & refunds\u003C/h2>\u003Cp>\u003Cstrong>4.1 \u003C/strong>The standard membership fee is \u003Cstrong>£19.99 for a two-year term\u003C/strong>, unless otherwise stated.\u003C/p>\u003Cp>\u003Cstrong>4.2\u003C/strong> Membership \u003Cstrong>does not automatically renew\u003C/strong>. Members must re-verify eligibility before or upon expiry.\u003C/p>\u003Cp>\u003Cstrong>4.3\u003C/strong> Introductory or promotional pricing may be offered at BLE’s discretion.\u003C/p>\u003Cp>\u003Cstrong>4.4\u003C/strong> Payments must be made using an accepted payment method displayed at checkout. All payments are processed in \u003Cstrong>GBP\u003C/strong> and include applicable taxes where required.\u003C/p>\u003Cp>\u003Cstrong>Right to cancel & refunds\u003C/strong>\u003C/p>\u003Cp>\u003Cstrong>4.5\u003C/strong> You have a right to cancel your membership within \u003Cstrong>14 days\u003C/strong> of payment.\u003C/p>\u003Cp>\u003Cstrong>4.6\u003C/strong> If you request cancellation within this period, your membership fee will be refunded to the original payment method within a reasonable time.\u003C/p>\u003Cp>\u003Cstrong>4.7\u003C/strong> After the 14-day cooling-off period, membership fees are \u003Cstrong>non-refundable\u003C/strong>.\u003C/p>\u003Ch2>5. Membership number\u003C/h2>\u003Cp>\u003Cstrong>5.1 \u003C/strong>Upon successful registration, you will be issued a unique membership number for identification and administrative purposes.\u003C/p>\u003Ch2>6. Account management & security\u003C/h2>\u003Cp>\u003Cstrong>6.1\u003C/strong> You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login details and for all activity on your account.\u003C/p>\u003Cp>\u003Cstrong>6.2\u003C/strong> You must:\u003C/p>\u003Cp>- Maintain accurate and up-to-date account information\u003Cbr />- Use only \u003Cstrong>one account per person\u003C/strong>\u003Cbr />- Notify us immediately of any unauthorised access\u003C/p>\u003Cp>\u003Cstrong>6.3\u003C/strong> You may update your personal information or delete your account via the “My Account” area.\u003C/p>\u003Cp>\u003Cstrong>6.4\u003C/strong> BLE reserves the right to require password changes where necessary for security reasons.\u003C/p>\u003Ch2>7. Use of membership & discounts\u003C/h2>\u003Cp>\u003Cstrong>7.1\u003C/strong> Membership is \u003Cstrong>personal\u003C/strong>, \u003Cstrong>non-transferable\u003C/strong>, and for individual use only.\u003C/p>\u003Cp>\u003Cstrong>7.2\u003C/strong> Membership provides access to exclusive travel, accommodation, and wellness offers provided by third-party hosts and partners.\u003C/p>\u003Cp>\u003Cstrong>7.3\u003C/strong> Discounts:\u003C/p>\u003Cp>- Are exclusive to BLE members\u003Cbr />- Must not be shared with non-members\u003Cbr />- Must not be used for commercial or resale purposes\u003C/p>\u003Cp>\u003Cstrong>7.4\u003C/strong> Abuse of discounts (including sharing codes, misrepresenting eligibility, or operating multiple accounts) may result in suspension or termination of membership \u003Cstrong>without refund\u003C/strong>.\u003C/p>\u003Cp>\u003Cstrong>7.5\u003C/strong> BLE is not responsible for hosts withdrawing or amending offers. Members must review individual listing or host terms before booking.\u003C/p>\u003Ch2>8. Suspension, termination & cancellation\u003C/h2>\u003Cp>\u003Cstrong>8.1 \u003C/strong>You may cancel your membership at any time by contacting BLE. No refunds are payable outside the cooling-off period.\u003C/p>\u003Cp>\u003Cstrong>8.2\u003C/strong> BLE may suspend or terminate your membership where:\u003C/p>\u003Cp>- These Terms are breached\u003Cbr />- Eligibility is no longer met\u003Cbr />- Fraud or misuse is suspected\u003C/p>\u003Cp>\u003Cstrong>8.3\u003C/strong> Where reasonably possible, we will attempt to contact you before termination. In serious cases, immediate suspension may occur.\u003C/p>\u003Cp>\u003Cstrong>8.4\u003C/strong> Upon termination, access to member benefits will cease immediately.\u003C/p>\u003Ch2>9. Renewal\u003C/h2>\u003Cp>\u003Cstrong>9.1\u003C/strong> Renewal reminders will be sent by email approximately \u003Cstrong>14 days before\u003C/strong> expiry.\u003C/p>\u003Cp>\u003Cstrong>9.2\u003C/strong> Continued membership requires re-verification of eligibility.\u003C/p>\u003Ch2>10. Booking an escape or experience\u003C/h2>\u003Cp>\u003Cstrong>10.1\u003C/strong> When booking accommodation or experiences, you enter into a \u003Cstrong>direct contract with the host\u003C/strong>, unless stated otherwise.\u003C/p>\u003Cp>\u003Cstrong>10.2\u003C/strong> BLE acts solely as a \u003Cstrong>facilitator\u003C/strong> and is not a party to booking contracts.\u003C/p>\u003Cp>\u003Cstrong>10.3\u003C/strong> Hosts are responsible for:\u003C/p>\u003Cp>- Accuracy of listings\u003Cbr />- Pricing\u003Cbr />- Discount\u003Cbr />- Availability\u003Cbr />- Compliance with applicable laws\u003C/p>\u003Ch2>11. Booking cancellations & refunds\u003C/h2>\u003Cp>\u003Cstrong>11.1 \u003C/strong>All booking cancellations and refunds are governed by the \u003Cstrong>host’s own terms and conditions\u003C/strong>.\u003C/p>\u003Cp>\u003Cstrong>11.2\u003C/strong> BLE is not liable for host cancellation decisions but may assist with communication where appropriate.\u003C/p>\u003Ch2>12. Platform use & conduct\u003C/h2>\u003Cp>\u003Cstrong>12.1\u003C/strong> You agree to use the Platform lawfully, respectfully, and in good faith.\u003C/p>\u003Cp>\u003Cstrong>12.2\u003C/strong> Prohibited activities include:\u003C/p>\u003Cp>- Fraud or deception\u003Cbr />- Data scraping or harvesting\u003Cbr />- Abuse of hosts or other members\u003Cbr />- Activity intended to harm BLE or the Platform\u003C/p>\u003Ch2>13. User content\u003C/h2>\u003Cp>\u003Cstrong>13.1 \u003C/strong>You grant BLE a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use content you submit (including reviews and messages) for operational and promotional purposes.\u003C/p>\u003Cp>\u003Cstrong>13.2\u003C/strong> You confirm that all content you submit is lawful, accurate, and does not infringe third-party rights.\u003C/p>\u003Ch2>14. Data protection & privacy\u003C/h2>\u003Cp>\u003Cstrong>14.1 \u003C/strong>BLE processes personal data in accordance with its \u003Ca href=\"https://www.bluelightescapes.com/privacy-policy/\">\u003Cstrong>Privacy Policy\u003C/strong>\u003C/a>, available on the Platform.\u003C/p>\u003Cp>\u003Cstrong>14.2\u003C/strong> Personal data is used for account management, service provision, and marketing where consent has been given.\u003C/p>\u003Cp>\u003Cstrong>14.3\u003C/strong> BLE implements reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data.\u003C/p>\u003Ch2>15. Communications\u003C/h2>\u003Cp>\u003Cstrong>15.1 \u003C/strong>By becoming a member, you consent to receive:\u003C/p>\u003Cp>- Service-related emails (e.g. verification, payment, renewal)\u003Cbr />- Marketing communications (which you may opt out of at any time)\u003C/p>\u003Ch2>16. Disclaimers\u003C/h2>\u003Cp>\u003Cstrong>16.1\u003C/strong> The Platform is provided on an “as is” basis. BLE does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.\u003C/p>\u003Cp>\u003Cstrong>16.2\u003C/strong> BLE does not verify host licensing, insurance, or regulatory compliance. Responsibility rests solely with the host.\u003C/p>\u003Ch2>17. Limitation of liability\u003C/h2>\u003Cp>\u003Cstrong>17.1\u003C/strong> Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded under law.\u003C/p>\u003Cp>\u003Cstrong>17.2\u003C/strong> Subject to clause 17.1, BLE’s total liability arising from your membership shall not exceed the amount paid by you to BLE in the \u003Cstrong>12 months preceding the claim\u003C/strong>.\u003C/p>\u003Ch2>18. Changes to these terms\u003C/h2>\u003Cp>\u003Cstrong>18.1\u003C/strong> BLE may amend these Terms from time to time.\u003C/p>\u003Cp>\u003Cstrong>18.2\u003C/strong> Material changes will be notified via email or the Platform. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.\u003C/p>\u003Ch2>19. Governing law & jurisdiction\u003C/h2>\u003Cp>\u003Cstrong>19.1\u003C/strong> These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.\u003C/p>\u003Cp>\u003Cstrong>19.2\u003C/strong> The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction.\u003C/p>\u003Ch2>20.
