How much can I save?

Discounts are set by hosts – some offer a percentage off, others a fixed amount. Unlike the big platforms, we don't charge booking fees to members or high fees to hosts. That means more of your money goes towards the escape itself.

Here's a real example (as of 22 April 2026):

A beautiful countryside escape on a working farm in the Shropshire Hills – sleeping up to 6 guests and welcoming families and dogs. Members receive 10% off, with no restrictions.

7-night stay from 13 July 2026:

Airbnb price – £1,594
Host’s direct website price – £1,499
Blue Light Escapes price – £1,349

That's a saving of £245 compared to Airbnb – on a single booking.

What makes you different?

We're an independent, members-only travel and wellness company for the UK's blue light and armed forces community. We exist for one reason: to help you take regular, trusted breaks at lower prices – so you can switch off, recharge and spend time with the people who matter most.

We're focused entirely on travel and wellness escapes and experiences, and on quality over volume. We only work with independent, vetted hosts who genuinely want to give something back – not large brands chasing numbers. And we offer something most don't: real human support, 7 days a week, from a team that truly understands this community.

What’s the membership fee?

Membership is £19.99 for 2 years. As a thank you for early support, we're currently offering 50% off – so you can join for just £9.99. That's less than £1 a month.

Your membership gives you access to member-only prices on handpicked escapes, real human support 7 days a week, and our escape expert service to help you find the perfect break at no extra cost. Any new services we introduce including our travel and home swapping service are included at no additional cost.

Your fee also helps us keep the platform running, verify members to protect exclusivity, keep host fees low so discounts stay meaningful, and provide personalised support from people who genuinely understand this community.

What escapes do you offer?

We're launching with holiday rentals across the UK. Soon, we'll expand into spas, wellness retreats, hotels, B&Bs, campsites, motorhomes, and complementary therapies – with plans to go international too.

How do you vet hosts and escapes?

Every host completes an identity check and provides evidence that they own or manage their rental. We also review their presence on other platforms and check guest feedback to make sure they're reliable, responsive and genuinely attentive.

It means we've done the hard work for you. No scrolling through hundreds of listings hoping for the best – every escape on our platform has earned its place. We also have plans to personally visit and inspect every escape, so you can book with even greater confidence.

How do I book?

Currently, we operate as a marketplace, connecting members directly with hosts. All bookings are made with hosts. Find an escape, check availability, and book on the host's website using your member discount code. In phase 2, you'll be able to book everything directly through our platform.

Do you offer a refund?

Yes – no questions asked. Request a full refund within 14 days of payment. We believe in fairness, full stop.

Does membership auto-renew?

No. Before your membership ends, we'll invite you to renew. You'll be asked to re-verify your eligibility to keep things fair and secure. We don't store your payment details either.

Do you have an app?

We use a web app – nothing to download or update. It runs in your browser and can be added to your home screen, so it works just like a mobile app without taking up space on your phone.

What services are coming?

Later this year we’re launching our travel service, so you can book your holidays abroad, cruises and more with us. Next year, we’ll launch our foundation, which will fully fund escapes and experiences for members who need them most.
